It has helped tremendously but I was wondering if anyone had experiences with numerous ssri's and sweated on some but didn't on others? I have heard that Lexapro causes less sweating but does it cause weight gain? An added bonus for zoloft for me is it has helped lose weight! Many thanks,

I found Effexor to be probably, for me anyways, the worst as far as sweating goes. Celexa was just as bad for me with sweating. It seems no matter what, though, in any type of even slightly stressful situation, I sweat majorly. I have heard that beta-blockers and even some other blood pressure meds reduce sweating. I am currently on 60mg of Prozac, 25 mg Nortriptyline, 4mg clonazepam, 30 mg of AdalatXL (blood pressure) and 10mg's Altace (blood pressure as well.) and 500mg's of Metformin (glucophage) 3x a day for diabetes. Oh, and 1mg of Risperdal, 2x a day.

Best,
Jay
