Lexapro..from 10mg to 20mg...when can I switch

Coming off of Effexor and just on Lexapro for a couple days at 10mg....I desperately need to get feeling better and am willing to deal with side effect if it means I feel better faster. Has anyone started at 20 mg or gone to 20 from ten in just a couple days??? Thanks in advance!
