Well I'm in 2nd week of Cymbalta and must say that I am not nearly as sleepy as last week. I had company coming in and the time pressure of that helped motivate me to get moving around the house and get things cleaned up. I was shocked to see with new eyes how I had "let things go" around here. I started right in and cleaned out cabinets and organized drawers...I was amazing myself. I must say the place looked like "show shape" by the time everyone arrived.

Today after everyone left, I took a nap in the middle of the day, but I'm not terribly sure if I can blame that on a side effect or just tired from having so much company. I still feel the "I don't want to move" feeling when I am sitting or lying down, but it seems that once I'm moving, I'm okay. (Does that sound weird?) I can't think of another way to describe it.

One side effect that I love is that it has taken away my feeling of wanting to eat all the time. I am hoping for some weight loss from this. On the other hand, I'm not exercising as much as I was before I started taking it either.

I'm still willing to give this a chance. Based on my recent cleaning spree, I am very hopeful that it will help me turn around from the depression.
