benzos are non-toxic, generally speaking so...you might just need to up the dose a little. Some people take 4, 6, 8mgs/day Klonopin (keep in mind each mg/Klonopin=20mgs/Valium), so there's room for dosage increases.
If I were you, I'd avoid switching to BuSpar or antidepressants, and especially avoid neuroleptics. If you need some GABAergic drugs, benzos are the cheapest, safest, most effective, and best::you probably just need to up the dose some, unless there's a big reason not to.
Vitamins can help, too, along with the drugs. B3 in particular can be anxiolytic/antipsychotic when you run into the 4+grams a day zone.Good luck.
