You could lower the paxil. Or perhaps change to a more activating SSRI such as zoloft or prozac. Even celexa might be more activating. You might even try a switch to effexor.

Low dose b12 supplementation in the morning may also help.

Failing that, you could augment with the following:

Wellbutrin, provigil, caffiene, ritalin/amphetamine, nortryptaline, protryptaline, selegiline (low dose), etc.

For instance, switching to a zoloft/wellbutrin combination, would replace the SSRI action of paxil, with norepinephrine/dopaine reuptake between the zoloft and wellbutrin.

Infact, wellbutrin and zoloft are both dopamine reuptake inhibitors. The combination can be effective in people who fail either drug alone.
