In reply to Remeron: When did it work for you? 3 weeks and bad, posted by AdamCanada on July 18, 2007, at 1:24:21
I've only been on it a week (and so just on the starting 15mg dose while I taper off of Cymbalta). I'd say that Remeron has helping my depression - which was the worst I'd been yet. We're talking lying-on-the-floor, ready to not wake up depression. It was awful, especially since the Cymbalta had been working for over a year.
But yes, since starting Remeron I'm sleeping ALL the time, and
yes, I'm eating ALL the time.As far as responding to the AD-qualities, I've read that it takes between 1 and 4 weeks for a body to respond. I don't think my results are typical, apart from the sleeping and eating part. Mood-wise, I am feeling flat-ish, but not as bleak as I had been.
Perhaps something to augment it, as someone else had suggested (I think)? Like Adderall?
Good luck.
