Wellbutrin to counter sleepiness?

Posted by Sheilac on July 18, 2007, at 8:30:44

I started taking Depakote 250 ER again and have added Trazadone (since I can’t take SSRIs or SNRIs). The Trazadone is supposed to help with sleep and hopefully with depression. I take the Traz at night and it does make me sleep all night, but I am too sleepy the next day. I also have Klonopin for anxiety.

Will the Trazodone really help with depression or would Wellbutrin help? I can’t take Wellbutrin by itself because it makes me irritable. Does the Depakote help with the Wellbutrin irritability?

Since I can’t take SSRIs or SNRIs, I guess I should stick with the Traz to help with serotonin.

And maybe add Wellbutrin in the morning to help with the sleepiness?
