Good point. I'm interested in this as well. Do you have a citation to that article (name of the journal, volume, page number, etc.)? I may be able to get the full article for you.

Another symptom of hypothyroidism is a low heart rate of between 40 and 49, or between 50 and 59 if you're taking stimulants or TCAs.
