WOW, you were treated very badly. What bugs me the most is that by reliving the bad experience you are allowing the wrongdoers to hurt you even more. The doctor was wrong, acted unprofessionally - somewhere down the line, karma will catch up to them... Try to let it go and be extra kind to yourself to feel better. DON'T GO BACK THERE !
I agree with Jay try to find a nice GP ?
I can't believe you get charged $225 ! What is that ? Good grief !! Isn't there an ethics board you can report the doctor to ?
