Just my own experience here:

I've taken Ritalin for a while, and recently switched to Concerta. In the beginning, when I first switched, I had headaches -- just like the headaches I got when I first started taking Ritalin. They've gone away now, just as they did when I started taking Ritalin.

Just in case you experience something funky, and wonder why, since it's the same basic drug. I thought there was a problem, but apparently the different mechanism of release is enough to start some adjustment phase issues...
