I don't think "bad" is the right word. But do it sensibly. Go off it gradually. If you were on Xanax previously to the Klonopin you will go through a major benzo withdrawal, but I can't remember if you were switched from Xanax to Klonopin, or if your dosage was just increased.
BTW, Xanax is more of an "as needed" benzo. If you are having a panic attack or anxiety, Klonopin can take its time to work (it helps to let it disolve under your tongue). That's why most people don't take Klonopin as a PRN.
