The first time I took klonopin I remember feeling kind of depressed.
I'm taking it again (after 4 years I think..) because I'm in an in-between period where I'm switching from an SSRI to an MAOI--so I needed something to help me through, so my doc gave me klonopin.
This time it's not making me depressed. It actually helps me because I'm usually chronically irritated, sad and ruminating on anything bad that happens in my day. Somehow klonopin helped me calm down and take things a lot easier. I don't feel that irritated or that angry at everything and everyone. It's been a great relief.
But I guess it acts differently on each person. Even in one person it can act differently at different times, like it did it my case.
