> Hi
> I have been taking Geodon for bipolar I at 20mg twice daily. For the first 2 weeks days I had a really good response; primarily it relieved the agitation coupled with extreme exhaustion which is resistant to every other drug. I actually felt normal for once in my life- I had energy, was awake and had a very level mood.
> Now it seems to have stoppped working- the tiredness is back.
> Is it even worth trying an increased does or is it clearly just transiently effective for some people (like me). :(
>I'm assuming that you mean 200mg, not 20 mg, because I don't think they make lamictal at that dose.
after 2.5 weeks at 200mg, my pdoc raised me up to 300mg, and now I feel better than 200mg. Pdoc tells me that it is a very good antidepressant (at least for bipolar).
I hope you feel better soon
