I've taken them together, and I found them to be additive, by which I mean that they didn't seem to block each others' effects at all. They didn't 'multiply' each others' effects, but they did add to each other. It was a fairly good combination. Ritalin/methylphenidate is too anxiety-provoking for me, on its own, but tianeptine relieves enough of my anxiety that taking them together proved more palatable. It was fairly effective.Their profiles don't suggest any safety issues. As Link seems to say, they theoretically look (to me) like a sensible combination.
