What exactly do you mean by 'sedating' PJ? None of the SSRIs are 'sedating' in the same way that a benzo or sleeping drug is sedating. SSRIs do sometimes cause drowsiness, fatigue and apathy however. Lexapro may be less likely to cause drowsiness and fatigue that Luvox. The main problem with Lexapro is that it is overpriced. I generally recommend the SSRIs which are available as generics, such as citalopram (Celexa).
