I think you really need to take a benzo with Parnate to help sleep and counteract the jitteriness it can cause at high doses. I've always wondered why so many people seem to 'need' large doses of benzos with Nardil if it's such an outstanding anxiolytic in its own right. Benzos can cause and exacerbate depression when used at high doses for a long time while MAOIs are obviously antidepressants so have the advantage of helping with both mood and anxiety.
