Hi Jerry
I have followed your posts for the last month and I have felt very sorry for you. You are in a very difficult situation. Unfortunately I have not been able to give much help as I live in Europe and dont know much about US health system etc.> I thikn a trycyclic would work wonders for me - as they actually have helpedme in the past. BUT NOOOOOOO. My Pdoc is stupid and thinsk everyone should be on Risperdal, Geodon or Effexor - and those are the only meds that work.

Then I think you should insist again on having a tricyclic. I never have understood this US "trend" of giving everyone AP's. They are used very little in Europe for depression.

Congratulations.

That is exactly what I have done after wasting 30 years of my life on stupid docs and pdocs. I buy all my meds mailorder. I dont know if that is an option for you but tricyclics are generally very cheap.

Dont be sorry. Being mad is a huge improvement compared to your posts one month ago. You show both initiative and responsibility by now. You are on the right track.Just one advice for you. It may sound silly, but try to get out of your home every day. Spending at least one hour a day outside in daylight can have a tremendous effect on your mood. What you actually do outside is less important.
Dont give up hope. We are many people all over the world following your struggle and wanting to support you.
brgds
