I'm a social drinker and will have a few glasses of wine or beers when out with friends, enough to get me pleasurably drunk but never wasted or out of control. I didn't have any problems; the only difference I found is that the meds seem to potentiate the effect of alcohol, so I drink less. I wouldn't worry just as long as you drink slowly so you can 'monitor' the effects as you go along.

After last weekend, I feel less worried about the potentiate effect. I had several mixed drinks but barely felt a thing. Either the people in the back of the restaurant weren't putting much alcohol in my drinks or I have a ridiculously high tolerance to it. But I had a good time anyway.
