Bipolar III?

Has anyone here been diagnosed with / know anything about bipolar type III? Apparently this is a form of bipolar spectrum where mania/ hypomania is only induced by substance use (e.g. alcohol, drugs etc)- otherwise main pointer is mood cyclicity, between very depressed and mildly or not depressed...
