You should have the right to privacy if you are at least the age of majority, at least here in the US.
But do not expect this unless you request it.
Call the insurance company, the number should be on your card, and request your info be kept separate from your parents. Ask them if your prescription info will not be viewable on any statements your parents receive. It is best to have any mail concerning insurance sent to a different address if you live with your parents.
