Greenstone is a division of Pfizer that makes the branded version of Zoloft. The Greenstone genric and the branded Zoloft are made in the same factory. Greenstone had the 6 month exclusive on generic Zoloft. It was a brillant move by Pfizer to get another six months out of Zoloft. During the first six months of a genric exclusive, the price is almost as high as the brand version. It doesn't go down till after the six months and all the other genric companies can sell their version. Thanks for the heads up on this, I take genric sertraline and have not run across the non-Greenstone version yet. Unfortunatly, I don't think I will have a choice when I order it from my mail order insurance pharmacy and they will probably go with the lowest cost TEVA version. I can't refill it at a retail pharmacy anymore, as my drug plan requires maintenance meds to be mail order. The Greenstone brand is almost the same cost as branded Zoloft, so it would be a waste to pay for it in cash. I wonder if it would be possible to just increase the dose of the TEVA version to make it work.
