I believe the average dose of nortriptyline is less well established than with other tricyclics. That said, here is what's given on SLS's site:

Nortriptyline dosage:
50-100mg (per day)
(150mg max)

That dose range is in line with the dose I was on some years ago.

Perhaps you could try augmenting it with another MAOi besides Nardil? If monitored carefully, the combination is supposed to be safe.

If tiredness is your issue, however, perhaps you could try provigil instead. Of course, if you have a relaxed sort of doc, maybe dextroamphetamine, amphetamine mixed salts (adderall), or methylphenidate/ritalin, might help with that, too.
