riluzole - are its effects permanent.??!!!

Hi, hope everyone is ok!!! 1 month ago, i stopped takin the riluzole and my improvement in mood, noise sensitivity etc. has maintained as if i was still taking it.
Does anyone know if its effects on the NMDA receptors are permanent, and does this also apply to memantine??? I mean since taking the two i no longer have any noise sensitivity (i can go into a nightclub and i am 100% fine........whereas before ANY noise made my ears drum!!!).
