Hi rj,

that's a very good description of Zyprexa

"it kinda blunts me out"

That's exactly how it made me feel

I have been tapering down from 10 mg since October last year and have now been down to zero for nearly 3 weeks. The insomnia is a major hassle but is damped down by 5 mg Valium.

I assume you are on the 2.5 mg. Don't stay on it for several years and expect a hassle free w/d. Zyprexa is a bitch to come off. This is my second attempt. First time I did it in 4 weeks and suffered horrible rebound insomnia and anxiety. This time I have taken it ultra slow. I have not had any hassle really until I cut down from 1.25 mg (half tablet) to zero. Now I am struggling.

I've never taken Lamictal but it might be a better solution than the Zyprexa. Oh yes I have also had a couple of manic frantics but I try to keep my cool now.

Good health

ronaldo
