I'm sorry to hear you're having so many problems. I find that Lyrica decreases my blood pressure and helps with anxiety and is a good add-on to very low dose doxepin for sleep (I also used it with trazodone and it made sleep better, too).
Quintal is right that your doctor probably doesn't know the off-label indications. My old pdoc was leary of prescribing it because of it being Schedule IV and new. Though he was prescribing Klonopin to me with no qualms. I think there are lawsuits regarding Lyrica and suicidal behavior. It may have cast a pall on pdocs prescribing it off-label.
