I don't know where to start. Fruit alkaline? Get the litmus paper out and try it. The stomach is in any case very acidic - naturally - yeah naturally. The 8 glasses of water a day myth was traced back by a colleague of mine. Originally the story was that most people consumed the equivalent of 8 glasses of water, much of it in the form of fruit and veg. Hold a ripe pear and feel the weight. That's almost all water. The answer is:
DRINK when you're thirsty
Don't drink distilled water. It'll wash out minerals and vitaminsAlso it states that sugar is bad for you but fruit is good. Well grapes for example contain about 20 sugar (fructose, glucose and maltose, I think). Actually it might have said refined sugar, meaning I suppose sucrose (C12H22O11). This breaks down into glucose once in the body however, and "glucose is glucose". OK in a fruit it might be slower release than pure glucose.
Finally to say a glass of water is one of the fastest ways to eliminate anxiety is nonsense. Try Scotch on the rocks. I'll think you'll agree it's quicker.
