Hi Fred,
Haven't heard of it, but it sounds a bit like gobbledygook to me... there's something to be said for changing what you feel is wrong in your life, or changing your expectations of life, but that's ignoring the basic premise that for some people there is some problem that won't be fixed by changes in living choices. I concluded that after 10 years of changing jobs, homes and just about everything around me in quest of happiness. Only to have it hit me in the face that it doesn't work because I always take my brain with me... then again, I was less unhappy in some places than in others, so it does work to a certain extend. Also I suppose taking an SSRI could be considered a way of changing what you want- you may still want the same things but not care so much if you don't get them....
Also, I can honestly say the only thing I really want is contentement. Maybe I should write to them to ask if I it's advisable that I change that goal? ;-)
Mind you, I also buy all sorts of depression cure kits and the like. The latest is a gaiam 'start and end your day with meditation' dvd. Hmmmm... can't believe I confessed to that!
