Zoloft, Phentermine, and weight

Hi,
I was wondering if there is anyone who gained weight on Zoloft, then added phen to the zoloft and lost weight. Zoloft is a great medication for me, I am really irritable without it, but I have gained a lot of weight. I am now taking it with phen and I lost a lot the first week, then stopped. I am thinking of switching to Effexor, but I remember having terrible withdrawl the last time I took it.
