I recently started taking Seroquel. I started at 25 mg and it knocked me out. My PDOC said that the higher the dosage the less sedation. I'm now taking 300 mg and I'm still near black-out within an hour and have been sleeping 12 hours. I love how it makes me sleep but I'm a little concerned at how strong this medication is. I worry that something will happen in the middle of the night where I will be required to leap out of bed (fire, intruders which are very common here in Costa Rica, etc) and I won't be able to function. I know I cannot drink alcohol with this, had a horrid experience, and I definately could not drive. Albiet it is keeping my mania at bay, but at what price I'm wondering...
