I used to know of someone who had a similar situation with stimulants and the home front. They moved out, and were doing ok...
Maybe you should switch to the sister company of GAP, its called 'Hot Topic', people there are thought to be sarcastic and rude. Maybe you'd fit in, and make a couple friends, while laughing all the way to the bank. =)
I used to work at a flower shop (dead head), but I would wear alot of black, so people thought I worked at a coffee shop, it was amusing the way people could judge me on appearance.
