That's interesting that you feel it mostly in
your lips...The reason I asked is because I've been on
3600mg./day of Neurontin for the past three
years because of neuropathic pain due to
some[lumbar] spinal problem that's impinging on a
nerve. It works amazingly well[where narcotics
didn't], but I get tingling in my hands whenever
I hold them in some clenching position for more
than a minute or so, like writing or holding
my electric toothbrush. It goes away rather
quickly once the hand is 'free', but it's
rather bothersome/uncomfortable while it's
going on. I don't think I could write a
letter of any length now. There is a chance I may go to Lyrica at some
point in the future, and I know the two drugs
are very similar in action but how close they
are chemically I don't know. Just wondered if
I'd have the same side effects on Lyrica as
Neurontin.Sorry that you don't get pain relief from Lyrica
because you can't take sufficient doses.Did you ever take Neurontin and if so did it
help?Ken
