It's my understanding that they are essentially the same, with PLMD being the one which occurs during sleep, with or without one knowing so.

Also, my neuro said my "restless" left arm is part of it also. I currently take 0.125 mg of Mirapex for it, but I'm thinking the dose may be raised.
