In reply to insomnia with wellbutrin vs. emsam?, posted by randermin on February 12, 2007, at 7:55:01

-my formatting was pretty unreadable so this is a repost...
does anyone have any thoughts on which one of these causes more sleep problems?
my doctor was considering lamictal but wellbutrin is also a possibility, I like the idea of dopamine but I really have to avoid insomnia as much as I can.
I'm thinking about emsam because to me it sounds like it might act differently or less on norepinephrine.
one of the reasons for why I stopped effexor was because of sleep problems, which I assume came from the increased N.
I couldnt stay asleep, which was never a problem for me before (onset, and circadian problems are what I am used to).
anyway, whichever drug is easier on sleep is the one I'll be lobbying for.
