While I was inpatient at a treatment facility for anorexia/bulimia, I was put on Lexapro. I also have ocd. For the OCD they initially prescribed luvox. I also take 4 mg's per day of Xanax XR.

I personally HATED luvox, as such, the increased my lexapro from 20 mg's to 40mg's. It seemed to help me with the obsessional thinking.

I was recently diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder, type II. As such, Lamictal was added to my medicinal regiment. Lamictal makes me REALLY hungry, which having an eating disorder is a very scary side effect.

I would recommend Lexapro and Xanax.. Lots of anxiety with eating disorders, and LExapro and xanax are helpful for me!
