generic vs brand adderall?

Speaking of Adderall, has anyone tried both the brand name and the (Barre brand) generic "d-amphetamine salt combo"? I wonder if anyone noticed and could comment on any discernable differences with mood effects, attention/ADD relief effects, or tolerance to either? I read a rumour that Barre is now manufacturing the brand name regular Adderall- is it true, and if so, would that make the brand and generic identical?

Also, how does the performance of the extended release Adderall compare to that of the short acting formulas?
