You can split them in half.
When I was on effexor, I carefully emptied the contents onto a piece of colored paper. Brought all the beads to the centre with a razor blade, then visually separated the beads in half.
You can then discard half, and fold the paper into a v shape at one end to funnel half the contents back into the capsule. Or just consume half the contents (the delayed release is a property of the beads not the gelcap)
