Sorry Neighbors to the North. My American health plan doesn't list Cymbalta on their formulary either. At least I can get it prescribed because you just pay a higher co-pay on a non-formulary drug on my PPO plan. People with HMOs here in the US can't get the drugs that aren't on their formularies so they're in the same boat as you.
I've always thought that universal health care would be better for us even with rationing, but I don't know about that reading posts from Canadians.
For me, I'm going to stick with my trial of Cymbalta because my other choice of EffexorXR left me numb from the waist down years ago, and it was a scary withdrawal. Even though I have to pay extra, I want to be able to perform and not go through h*ll if I get taken off this drug.
