I didn't gain wt on lamictal but only got to 50mg and an uncommon side effect excess salivation so went off but no insomnia or anxiety. And seroquel I am using off and on with valium for sleep in low doses. I'm finding you need to increase the dose. Don't like that or the possible side effects. Love Phillipa ps I think I'll stick with the valium
