Recommend a good Pdoc in Boston area?

My mother needs to see someone with experience with treatment resistant depression. She's also on all kinds of pain medication right now because of a back problem so they need to be knowledgable about the interactions of medications.
I know of Dr. Goldberg's list but my mother really needs to see someone who is kind and compassionate.
If you know of anyone who fits the bill, please let me know.
