> I'm trying Lamictal again for the second time. Lately , for no reason I'll be happy and feel like bursting into tears within minutes. I'm trying it for depression but I think it's making me sad. I'm currently only at 50mg but feel that same pattern as last time. Increasing the dose, feeling good for a couple of days, then feeling like crap. Anyone out there experience this?

That's exactly what happened to me on three different trials. I never made it past day 4. The first couple days were very nice, immediate antidepressant. Then it turned into a depression much worse than where I had started. I couldn't stick it out.

In clinical trials there are a minority of people that experience emotional lability and suicidal tendencies.
