So this is what I've learnt:
1) Benzos aren't particulary dangerous, if you're taking them sensibly.
2) If you're not particulary anxious and you take one, the worst that can happen is that you get abit sleepy.
I plan to take one on Friday evening, actually 1/2 a 15mg pill, but I might make it 1/4 of a pill. I don't know if I'll be particulary anxious, but well. I have to try it once in a controlled way, just so if/when I get worse, I won't be extra freaked out by having to take a totally new medication, if you see what I mean. And then I'll just, take it easy and not do anything.
Thanks for all the kind support and advice, I realise that this might seem a tad irrational to people who are used to taking benzos!
