Yep, genetic hemochromatosis. I only had ten pints removed in the end. It took my body awhile to adjust. My fatigue had lessened a lot although I still had excessive daytime sleepiness. Provigil did nothing in the past. Now it works. I had something like seasonal depression and moods that cycled a lot and I was always changing meds. I always had to take the highest dose of any med. Now instead of 200 mg of zoloft, I can take 25 or 50 mgs.
