Hey Corafree,
You didn't do anything wrong or selfish by trying to let others know why you may temporarily not participating as much as you would like.
I am sure He would not be offended.
In fact that was one trait that just stood out about Michael to me. He just did not take things personally and always seemed to respond as if he were a stanger to malice.
Not a defensive person. I would like to cultivate that trait in myself.
