My brain does not work the same without them anymore either. I often wonder if I would still need them now if I had not taken them in the first place. Now I feel great but on the meds. At the time I started I definitly needed them. So when I come off the drugs, does my mind go back to being depressed or is it a reaction to the loss of meds. I wondered for years when will I be well again and not need pills anymore. Now I know, IT's NEVER. Depressing isn't it.
