Ritalin-Calmed me down!-Why?

Damn I'm confused!
Today I took a really low dose of Ritalin, 5mg I think.
I felt much calmer and happier for a while!
Why is this?
Do I really have ADD?
I'd just convinced myself it was stupid of me to think I could possible have it.
I don't think Dexedrine made me calm, but maybe my dose was to high!
So confused!
