This inflammation thing is interesting. I have been getting attacks of cellulitis (gross swelling and inflammation of the ankles) for about 4 years now which the docs tell me is very rare in anyone under 40, and I was only 20 when it started. When I was in hospital they wanted to keep me in longer because the inflammatory markers were so high despite all external inflammation disappearing. I decided to leave anyway but now I'm thinking I may have done the wrong thing. The doc at hospital also asked if there was a family history of Chron's disease, which there is (my mother had an aggressive form and was crippled by it) - along with other autoimmune inflammatory conditions.
I was reading about Quercetin over on alternative and have ordered some. Would this be helpful for this inflammation/prostaglandin thing?
Suggestions anybody? Do I go back to the doc and request a blood test, and on what grounds other than I've been feeling unwell lately, which could just be a flare up of my hypochondria afterall?
