I've tried tianeptine Mark and while I had no side effects, it had no apparent effect either as far as I could tell. I was taking it the with the tranquilliser Klonopin, so this may have been masking some of the effects? It is not available in the UK but you can sometimes import it with a pdoc's prescription, or obtain it other ways of course.
Tianeptine has been reviewed quite a lot on the boards here. You may also find some good reviews over at www.remedyfind.com
