T3 (triiodothyronine) T1 for hypothyroidism?

Posted by corafree on November 16, 2006, at 13:38:55

I've been on .075 levothyroxine because of standard lab test results indicating hypothyroidism for probably 3-4yrs now.

Many years ago I learned there was a relationship between the reproductive hormones and the thyroid hormones, but never saw, and have never seen an endocrinologist.

U psychopharmacoholics out there ... Is this just a woman thing (duh .. really don't know)?

Here is an article which says some peeps may need to be on T3 triiodothyronine). It further mentions some peeps may need be on T1. Anyone on T3 or T1, or anyone w/ input?
