FYI: after taking parnate for months, i happened to have a blood test and it came back positive for amphetamine. i understood it wasn't suppose to do that, but i'm not sure how easy a false positive is to trigger. i know selegeline metabolizes to amph, and wellbutrin can also create a false positive, and though parnate is structurally similar to amph, i thought the conclusion was that it did not metabolize to amph. wether or not the amph test is selective enough to filter out true amphetamine structure from parnates structure is one question. or is this proof of the tendency of higher dose (100mg) to actually metabolize to amph?
hmmmm....?
