The bad news about any SSRI is that there's usually an adjustment period during which you're likely to have GI side effects. The good news, though, is that they usually pass pretty quickly. I just started Zoloft, and was queasy for a week -- quite nauseous, really -- but only for about a week.
If anxiety is a big problem for you, which is sounds as though it might be, you might want to give Lexapro another try. If you only managed three days on it, you were probably halfway through the start up effects. They really and truly do pass pretty quickly for most people.
I know it's frustrating to keep trying, and to have bad experiences with these drugs. I hope you'll give it a try, and that it works out better for you.
Good luck.
